Webmaster is back in town and answering questions untill some other club
representitive is willing to put their personal email address on TEH INTERNETS.
On that note, welcome all early freshman. GatorAnime has apparently been meeting in
CSE 222 (The building north of the french fries east of the HUB. We look forward to
seeing some new faces. Cant recal most of what we're watching off the top of my
head, but I beleive we just started RIDEBACK at the begining of summer B. will
update once certain.

Next week's meeting, December 11th, will be a potluck showing. Please
bring something (legal) for us to watch, or else we're stuck re-watching
Samurai Pizza Cats. Also we will be voting on next semester's
schedule... Maybe... and by we I probably mean gator anime
officers... but who knows, maybe we're feeling particularly
egalitarian...

Congratulations to all who participated in the 2008 GatorAnime Cosplay Contest. Pictures are now available in the extra
section. Photoshops are
welcomed, and will help us to enhance the shame. Also, the schedule has been updated
to include the series we will be watching in the second half of the semseter (now).

Attention officers, there is an officer's meeting this Tuesday. Check your e-mails for the when and where. We will be discussing and voting for the anime that we'll be showing this spring. For the rest of you, the results will be announced at this week's meeting and also on the website. The good lord willing we'll pick stuff that everyone can enjoy. You can still send your recommendations to our illustrious vice president.

Greetings all. I have managed to secure our normal room for most of the remainder of the semester. So that's a good thing. Another good thing is that even though someone almost totally screwed us over (I won't name any names *cough*ryan*cough*) AWA went totally awesome. We even had someone from the Alligator meet us up there and they did a story on it. I got quoted in it and I've already had people e-mail me who found out about the club because of the article. Photos from the con will be uploaded sometime later this week so all of you can see what you missed. Also, for those of you interested in the flash anime sort of thing we're planning on making, visit the Extra tab on top of the page, that's where the info is for that. The cosplay info is also there.

Hey everyone. I have a room secure for the rest of the semester. Not THE room but A room. More info on that later. In happier news, we have a booth at this years Student Organization Fair. Since I have class basically all day on Wednesdays, I won't be able to attend for most of it. However, I will be able to check in at 9:30 at the Collonade but since I won't be able to stay, I ask everyone, not just the officers, show up in as much anime-esque clothing and apparel that you can find to show your support. We have the booth until 3pm so come at anytime and bring your friends. Cookies for all those that show up to man the booth!*
*Cookies will only be honored at the club and at the discretion of the President.

2006/09/07: Your President Speaketh Again
Everyone, I'm really sorry that you had to go through the whole room switching process. Hopefully it won't happen again this semester at least (its happened every other semester I've been here and longer according to some of the seniors and grad students). I talked to the registrar again and they said we should be good. However since I still haven't gotten anything in writing from them, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. More on this story as it develops.

Hello everyone, I hope you like the new site design and are patient while we get everything working and make it look more visually appealing. As many of you might be wondering, yes we are having a meeting this week. It's in the same room we have most of the other meetings, lei 207. New site up, sorry for the delay. I'm still working on it to try vaguely to make it suck somewhat less (sorry..), and there's some obvious spots where things really should be..fleshed out more, so any corrections, suggestions, problems, comments, criticisms, etc etc, I'd be happy to hear it.
