Welcome to another year of membership in the Association for Academic Women. You are reading the first issue of our new electronic newsletter where you will find notices of future meetings and information about other campus activities that may be of interest to you. We also want to include news about our members and encourage you to submit notices of any awards or recognition you may receive, publications, offices you hold in professional organizations or other information we could share with our readers.

Although we provide a variety of programs, socials and other activities during the academic year, AAW also exists to provide networking opportunities for faculty and Administrative & Professional women on campus while supporting and celebrating their individual accomplishments. The development of a web site and this online newsletter make sharing information about the organization and its members timelier and, we hope, more effective. Let us know how the newsletter, the web site and the organization can be even more useful to you.
