The Association for Academic Women (AAW) is an organization on campus that fosters the careers and personal growth of UF women in all faculty and administrative roles and other professional positions (i.e. coordinators, directors).

AAW provides an interdisciplinary, university-wide platform for networking opportunities among women who often find themselves isolated on campus (or off). The association also acts as an advisory group for higher administration, providing valuable information on UF women's needs and desires. AAW is a training ground for women interested in informal leadership and mentoring opportunities through various training opportunities. AAW members also have the opportunity to interact directly with speakers who are chosen to speak specifically because of their impact on UF women.

We encourage you to join and to let other UF women know about the many opportunities offered through membership in AAW. We look forward to an eventful year, so please join us and become an active participant.
