Acceptable Use Policies on Grove
Grove accounts are for instructional and other academic purposes and should not be used for
extensive research computations or for administrative functions. They are prohibited from use for commercial activities.

In addition, grove users must
- Limit disk space used to 50MB and limit number of files to 5000.
- Not run any long running process.
- Not use Grove webpages for commercial endeavors.
- Not run bots, drones, zombies, worms or malware.
- Not do email spamming.
- Not have files in their home directory owned by another user id
- Not open any of their directories or files to write access by others.
- Not store Restricted Data on their grove account.
Under special circumstances, users may be authorized for

cron jobs, additional disk space or other exemptions.
