The University of Florida Chapter of Progressive Black Men, Inc. would like to welcome you to our website. On March 22, 2003, 16 prominent gentlemen founded the University of Florida Chapter of Progressive Black Men, Inc. Our mission has always been to eradicate the negative stereotypes placed upon those of color, especially black males. Since our inception, this chapter has been devoted to communal support, on-campus programs, and professional development. We have developed programs such as the Jesus Jam Benefit Concert, Summer Paintball, 15 days of service, and many others. As a registered 501(c)3 corporation, we look forward to helping those who need a boost and a helping hand.
Please feel free to browse the website and learn more about to this chapter, the national organization, and our sister organization S.I.S.T.U.H.S. Be sure to visit the website often. Keep yourself abreast of our eminent programs as well as community service opportunities.
Please remember that you do not have to be a member of Progressive Black Men, Inc. to be progressive. Every moment is an opportunity for progression. With this in mind, I encourage all to make the most out of every opportunity, be willing to lend a helping hand, and always have faith. Have a Good Day!
