Transportation

We recognize the fact that flying into Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) can substantially increase the cost of flights. There are several alternative airports in North-Central Florida that will offer less expensive flights, including Tampa (TPA), Jacksonville (JAX), and Orlando (MCO and ORL).

We know that price is an issue, so we will be offering round-trip transportation from the Orlando International Airport (MCO). We ask you to understand that it is impractical to transport people from all of the surrounding areas, so transportation will be provided from MCO ONLY.
 
The cost of transportation from Orlando International Airport to the University of Florida is included in the symposium registration fee, but to reduce costs, we would greatly appreciate it if you could send us your travel information as soon as possible so that we can schedule busses.
 
Regretfully, if you plan to fly into an airport other than Orlando (MCO), you are responsible for arranging your transportation from the airport to the University.
