Permias (or Perhimpunan
Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat) is an organization in which its
members consists of Indonesian students who attend universities and colleges
in the United States. Since the students go to different colleges throughout
the US, local Permias organizations are formed. Permias Gainesville is
formed by Indonesian students who live in the area within Gainesville.
Majority of its member are students who attend University
of Florida at Gainesville
, while some others study at local community college in Santa Fe.
