Join PDS
Are you a pre-health student who
is considering becoming a pre-dental student? If so you've come to
the right place. The UF Pre-Dental Society is an organization that strives to educate UF
students about the wonderful careers the field of dentistry has to offer.
Furthermore, our mission as an organization at the University of Florida is to reach out to
the Gainesville community and all of Gator Nation by organizing and
participating in service projects that are designed to promote and emphasize oral hygiene in the
community with a special emphasis on the less privileged areas of Gainesville.
In addition
to contributing to the community, we prepare our members for the dental school applications
process by having guest speakers come to speak on issues such as interviews, essays, letters of
reccomendation, service and clinical experience, grade concerns, loans and financing and
a myriad of other topics dealing with dental school preparation. We strive to make sure
our members are the most educated and prepared pre-dental students at UF.

1. Send an email to liserv@lists.ufl.edu (notice there is no
"e" in listserv) with the
following one-line message in the body:
SUBSCRIBE PREDENTAL-L firstname lastname
2. You will then be sent a confirmation by
email. You will have to type "OK" and reply back to the listserv manager to
complete subscription
