Venita J. Sposetti, DMD, is an Associate Professor and the Assistant
Dean for Admissions & Financial Aid at the University of Florida
College of Dentistry. She is a graduate of Florida State University; she
received a DMD degree from the University of Florida, and a certificate in
General Practice Residency from the University of Florida. She joined the
faculty of the University of Florida in 1980. Her clinical activities have
been concentrated in the area of prosthodontics where she has taught
didactic and clinical courses to students in all four years of the
curriculum. Her research has focused on removable prosthodontics and
tobacco and substance abuse issues. She was recently awarded a 2 year
Interdisciplinary Substance Abuse fellowship. She has served as the
Assistant Dean for Admission since 2001. |
