Our
fraternity bond is based on military service, respect, honor,
and commitment to the greatest nation. Since 1776 The United
States of America has enjoyed a prosperous history of freedom.
This freedom has come at an enormous price, both here at home
and on foreign soil. We proudly salute all of those who watch
over us while we sleep, all of those who have stood vigilantly
against the great wall of freedom, and those who have died ensuring
that others may live free.
We
believe that the American servicemen,in esence, make up the oldest
fraternity in the United States. However, no such fraternity exists
in any college campus, until now. We would like to open chapters
in every single University in the United States that has active
servicemen, veterans, and ROTC cadets. We invite collegiate veterans
to inquire about starting their own chapter at their local university.
Omega
Delta Sigma has three well-defined goals:
I.
To facilitate the rough transition from military life to collegiate
life for the servicemen, and to provide a network of contacts
for him. In the near future we will also provide affordable living
quarters for these servicemen by building or purchasing a house
on or near campus.
II.
Provide support within the fraternity by assisting each other
with collegiate, personal, and/or financial difficulties.
III.
Offer service to those who bravely sacrificed their body and life
so that we may live free. There are many forgotten heroes living
in VA hospitals and nursing homes wanting someone to talk to.
There are homeless veterans that, with the help of affiliate organizations,
Omega Delta Sigma will provide shelter, food, and skill training
for.
