1. Purpose of the listservice:The purpose of this listservice is to increase communication and the exchange of information on the topic of international folk dancing. This listservice is supported by the University of Florida and relates largely to the activities of the International Folk Dance Club, which is a student organization. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate in the club's dance activities, and by special arrangement with the University, the club's dances are also open to the general public. We welcome listservice participation from folk dancers everywhere.
2. Topics permitted on the listservice:
Folkdanc is a moderated listservice. Advertisements from commercial businesses and postings that are not pertinent to folkdance and related forms of dancing will not be approved for the listservice.
3. Submitting messages to the listservice:
If you would like to submit a message to the listservice, send your message to:
folkdanc@lists.ufl.edu
When you submit a message to the listservice, your message goes to all subscribers. When a person uses the 'reply' function to respond to a posting on the listservice, their message also goes to all subscribers on the list. If your message is intended for a particular person, especially if it is a private response, please be sure to send your message directly to that person rather than as a 'reply' to the listservice.
4. How to subscribe to the listservice:
From the account that you would like to subscribe to the listservice, substitute your first name and last name in the following message and send this message:

6. How to change the email address of your subscription
If your email account changes and you wish to change the address of your subscription to the listservice, you can sign on to your old account and unsubscribe from the listservice, then sign on to your new account and subscribe.
