Welcome

The Society of Minority Pre-Law Students evolved out of a desire to maintain more intimate contacts among those students who aspire to be a part of the legal profession. The organization strives to cultivate an environment where collective intellect, comradery, and individual talent, can find full expression. In essence, it is an environment in which one can increase his/her level of knowledge while being supported by equally ambitious peers. The label "society" is not one that is arbitrarily assigned. In keeping with the vision of its founder, Esquire operates as a single functional unit where each member ascribes their own individuality in order to further diversify the organization. Members originate from various cultural backgrounds and have chosen to pursue a wide array of majors/fields of study, yet we find common ground in our shared interests. We commit ourselves to excellence through scholarship and service. Likewise, Esquire is committed to excellence, service to our community, and to nurturing a greater understanding of the legal profession while also attempting to provide a means to personal success and achievement.
