We are offering an exciting Summer Associate Program, providing undergraduate students a hands-on opportunity working in the entertainment industry. This highly competitive program brings together students from around the country with diverse backgrounds and focuses on creating an educational experience for them at the Studio.
The Casting Marketing & Diversity Resource & Planning intern
The Casting Marketing & Diversity Resource & Planning intern will be responsible for but not limited to; compiling and distributing weekly ad reports, proofing weekly ad buys, releasing weekly press releases and assisting with feedback on new campaign development. The intern will organize special projects such as video shoots and radio spots as well as assist with the development of new creative for all areas underneath the Casting Marketing umbrella including: The Disney College Program, Walt Disney World International Programs, the Casting Scout Program, Professional, Hourly and Diversity. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and execution of Casting's yearly hiring event, Casting special events & promotions and Internet research. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: participating in Casting Scout tracking and reporting process, assisting with media buy executions, participating as a member on the Campus Rep Task Team, assisting with budgets and invoices, managing Excel spreadsheet creation/updates, merchandise research and ordering, compiling all media survey reports, assisting with other projects as needed.
Communication Planning: Graphic Design/Journalism
Walt Disney World Communications is a premier corporate communication division, supporting the information flow to more than 58,000 Walt Disney World Cast Members. Where else in the world can you gain experience communicating valuable business decisions, marketing strategy, along with a little “pixie dust” and Mickey Mouse? The department develops and creates a number of creative and unique communication tools, from graphic communication design to video telecasts -- each one tailored in size and scope to the number and diversity of our Cast Members. Responsibilities for these positions include development and creation of electronic and paper communication tools, including news and feature articles, newsletters, fliers, brochures, and presentations; and updating, improving, and maintaining existing communication vehicles, including our company intranet site and dynamic signage system. Graphic design and journalism majors are encouraged to apply.
