Grove

Due to the grove incident in 2009, we had to abruptly retire the old grove server. We are reestablishing services on a completely new platform.

We apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Most services have now been restored. Current status and projections are below.

Student Organizational Account Migration

Thanks to the Student Technology Fee, a new and better alternative for hosting Student Organization web pages is under development. This new platform will be more powerful, offer significantly more options and will be easier to use.
This new platform should be ready by January of 2012. Resources such as training and templates for the new platform will be available before then. Once the platform is ready, assistance in moving simple web sites will be available. All student organizations will have the option of keeping their web pages on grove until the new platform is available.

E-mail Services

webmail.grove.ufl.edu, imap.grove.ufl.edu and pop.grove.ufl.edu are available.

Grove Webpages

Grove homepages are viewable:

Web Services

Web services for web pages are available. Grove now runs:

Licensed Applications

MATLAB is available on grove.

Due to low usage and greatly increased cost, IMSL will not be offered on the new grove.

Since it is no longer being used on grove, the license for Maple has not been renewed.

Since it is available in the labs and is little used on grove, the license for SAS will not be renewed. It will be unavailable on grove starting Fall Semester, 2010.
