Grove

Due to the grove incident in 2009, we had to abruptly retire the old grove server. We reestablished services on a completely new platform.

We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
Current status and projections are below.

Student Organizational Account Migration

Thanks to the Student Technology Fee, a new and better alternative for hosting Student Organization web pages is under development. This new platform will be more powerful, offer significantly more options and will be easier to use.
This new platform should be ready by May 15th, 2012. Resources such as training and templates for the new platform will be available before then. Once the platform is ready, assistance in moving simple web sites will be available. All student organizations will have the option of keeping their web pages on grove until the new platform is available.

New Accounts

Currently, student organizational accounts are the only new Grove accounts being created.

E-mail Services

webmail.grove.ufl.edu, imap.grove.ufl.edu and pop.grove.ufl.edu are available.

Grove Webpages

Grove homepages are viewable:

See The Center for Student Activites and Involvement to find the current location of the home page for a given student organization.

Web Services

Web services for web pages are available. Grove now runs:

Licensed Applications

MATLAB is available on grove through Spring 2012 semester.

Due to low usage and increased licensing cost, IMSL, Maple and SAS are no longer available on grove.
